New Delhi: A terrifying video of the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pampore on June 25 has emerged in which terrorists, purportedly from the LeT, can be heard firing indiscriminately at a CRPF bus that was carrying personnel of the 161 battalion.
The video shows the CRPF bus that came under the attack on the Jammu-Srinagar highway when two militants appeared in front of the bus and started spraying bullets, thereby killing eight CRPF soldiers and leaving more than 20 injured.
The bus was returning to Srinagar after a firing exercise when it was ambushed by two LeT terrorists, armed with hand grenades and AK 47s, who were waiting in a car.
Lashar-e-Taiba spokesman Abdullah Gaznavi claimed responsibility for the attack. He, however, also admitted that both the militants involved in the attack have been killed.
In the wake of the terror attack that killed eight CRPF soldiers, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, “We will make sure not to fire the first bullet, but even if one bullet is fired from their (Pakistan's) side, we shouldn't even think about keeping a count on the bullets that we'll fire.”
