In a shocking news for Delhiites, a coach of a Delhi Metro train caught fire at Patel Nagar station on Thursday, officials said.
All passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported in the incident, officials informed.
According to the reports, the air-condition panel of the Metro train caught fire when it was standing at the Patel Nagar station.
However, the cause of the fire is still now known yet.
This incident has raised some serious concerns related to the security of commuters on Metro, which has so far been largely immune to accidents.
The Delhi Metro consists of six lines, with a total length of 190km and 142 stations including 35 underground stations.
