Security forces today arrested a suspected Hizbul Mujahideen militant from Shopian district of south Kashmir and claimed to have recovered two hand grenades from his possession.
Bilal Sheikh was apprehended by a police party from Shopian following a specific tip off, a police official said.
He said two Chinese hand grenades were recovered from his possession, he said.
“Two Chinese grenades and some incriminating material were recovered from his possession. An FIR has been lodged,” the official said.
