Respite from soaring temperature as rain lashes areas of Uttar Pradesh, but heatwave continues in western part

Very light to moderate rain and thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh but heatwave conditions continued to prevail in isolated parts of the western parts of the state.

The weather department also said that rain and thundershower are very likely at isolated places over the state on June 1 and June 2.
On June 3 and June 4, weather is most likely to remain dry in western Uttar Pradesh, the meteorological department said.
