The CCTV footage of the Eeco car that was used for launching suicide attack on CRPF convoy on February 14 has been recovered, according to NIA sources.
The CCTV footage has been recovered from the National Highway on which the CRPF convoy was moving on the day of the attack. In the CCTV footage, Adil Dar, the suicide bomber, is seen driving the Eeco car.
The owner of the car has been identified. However, he is hiding and remains untraceable.
The NIA suspects that the Eeco car used in the Pulwama attack could be of 2010-11 model which was painted again.
The NIA team had recovered a can from the place of attack in which around 30 kg RDX was kept.
The shock observer of the Eeco car has also been recovered that may help in finding out the year of manufacture of the car.
40 CRPF personnel were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack on February 14 .
