The star-studded wedding reception of the power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma turned brighter as Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the gala event on Thursday at Durbar Hall, Taj Diplomatic Enclave in the national capital.
Apart from PM Modi, cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Kapil Dev and BCCI president C K Khanna also attended the event.
Virat and Anushka met PM Modi on Wednesday, after returning from their destination wedding in Italy’s Tuscany.

Kohli, who is captain of the Indian cricket team, and popular Bollywood actor Sharma tied the knot on December 11 this year, in a hush-hush ceremony in Tuscany.

Soon after the wedding, Virat and Anushka announced in a joint statement, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
After their reception today, the couple will host another reception in Mumbai on December 26.
