Pakistan's drone spotted in Punjab’s Khemkaran sector, blackout ordered, internet services shut

On Monday, The Indian Air Force (IAF) scrambled two Sukhoi-30 fighter jets after sighting a Pakistani drone along the Indo-Pak border in the Khemkaran sector, official sources said.

In Punjab’s Khemkaran sector, a Pakistan's drone was spotted by Indian Army. After detecting it, the security personnel fired at it. 

A blackout was ordered in the entire village and internet services temporarily stopped. There is no confirmation about whether the drone is shot down or not.

On Monday, the Indian Air Force (IAF) scrambled two Sukhoi-30 fighter jets after sighting a Pakistani drone along the Indo-Pak border in the Khemkaran sector, official sources said.

After the incident, two Pakistani F-16 fighter aircraft were also seen close to the border.

The sources said the Sukhoi-30 MKI jets were deployed soon after the Pakistani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was seen hovering over the border, reported PTI.
