One person was killed after a building collapsed in Greater Noida’s Dankaur town. Another person was rescued by the locals. The incident was reported on Friday night near Dankaur police station.
Another two-storey building came crumbling down in Ghaziabad’s Tronica City. At least eight people, including a 70-year-old woman, have been rescued so far by the police. All the injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
According to the reports, no one is said to be trapped in the debris of the building. The cause of the buildings' collapse have not been ascertained yet.
The Ghaziabad and Greater Noida buildings collapse reports have come a few days after a four-storey building in Ahmedabad’s Odhav area collapsed.
Last month, a five-storey partially damaged building had collapsed in Ghaziabad. On July 22, one person was killed and eight others were injured when a five-storey building collapsed in Ghaziabad.
