Eight people were killed and more than 25 got critically injured after a truck overturned at Poiguda ghat near Baliguda in Kandhamal district, in Odisha, on Tuesday.
The rescue operation was underway, reported ANI. Injured were shifted to hospitals in Berhampur and Brahmanigan.
In another tragic incident, 26 people were injured after a tourist bus skidded off the road near Swarghat area in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, on Tuesday morning.
18 injured were shifted to a hospital in Nalagarh in Solan district. Eight seriously injured were shifted to PGIMER in Chandigarh.
