On August 10, Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad had recovered chemicals, weighing about 24 kgs, from the residence of cow vigilante and Sanatan Sanstha follower Vaibhav Raut’s Nala Sopara residence. They had also recovered 22 crude bombs, weighing 500-600 gms each.
Raut and Sudhanva Gondhalekar told the anti-terror police that they aborted their plan to bomb Sunburn Festival in Pune last year owing to the extensive CCTV surveillance there, reports said. The duo reportedly feared that if they got caught, they wouldn’t be able to complete their task of eliminating 14 people on their hit list.
