New Delhi: With an active monsoon over the city, Delhi residents today woke up to pleasant weather conditions and an overcast sky.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius.
Thunderstorm with rain is likely to occur across the city through the day, the MeT office forecast said. Humidity was recorded at 86 per cent at 8:30 AM.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. The maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius," a weather official said.
While the Safdarjung observatory recorded traces of rain in the last 24 hours, Ridge and Ayanagar monitoring stations logged 1 mm and 4.2 mm rain respectively.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum had settled at 24.4 degrees Celsius.
