Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar continued to be under observation in a Panaji hospital for the third day on Tuesday, even as an official said that his health status will be reviewed before possible discharge on Wednesday morning.
"The CM has shown a lot of improvement in health. He is feeling fine. A decision on his discharge from the GMC (Goa Medical College and Hospital) is expected tomorrow morning after a review of his health," an official attached to the Chief Minister's Office told reporters.
Late on Sunday evening, Parrikar was rushed to the government-run health facility after he complained of dehydration and low blood pressure.
Parrikar was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 15 for treatment of "mild pancreatitis", the CMO had said earlier.
He arrived in Goa on February 22 and presented the annual Budget in the Assembly.
