Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday arrested 9 people from Mumbai, Thane and Aurangabad for their alleged links with terror group ISIS.
Certain chemicals, powder, mobile phones, hard drives, SIM cards, acid bottle, sharp knives etc were seized during raids conducted by ATS.
A case has been registered against the arrested people under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967.
Further investigations are underway.
