The Maharashtra state board results for HSC/Class XII are likely to be announced in the last week of May on their official website- www.mahresult.nic.in.This year around 15.05 lakh students appeared for the Maharashtra HSC 2017 with 8,48,000 boys and 6,56,000 girls. Out of the registered students, 6,02,248 appeared from the Science stream while 5,70,161 were of the Arts stream, 3,22,802 in the Commerce stream and 70,255 from the Vocational stream.
In 2016, nearly 14 lakh students appeared for the examination. About 86.6 per cent students, which is around 11.6 lakhs, passed the examination in 2016.
As per the official statement by the board, class X results are likely to be declared in the first week of June.
The Maharashtra State Board came into existence on January 1, 1966, to regulate certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the state of Maharashtra, as "Maharashtra State Secondary Education Boards". It conducts exams twice a year.
There are nine divisional boards in state that together represents ‘state board’ located at Amravati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Konkan, Latur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, and Pune.
Students can check their Class 12 Maharashtra Boards results on mahresult.nic.in by following these steps:
- Log on to official website mahresult.nic.in
- Click on the result tab
- Click on the link flashing Class XII Higher Secondary Certificate HSC results 2017
- Enter your Hall Ticket No and other details in the fields provided
- Click on View Result
- Download the Maharashtra HSC Results 2017 and take a printout for future reference
After the announcement of 12th results, those candidates who have doubt for paper correction they can apply for re-correction or revaluation or for recounting exam papers, the Maharashtra 12th Results 2017 of re-correction or revaluation and recounting results will be released in 10-20 days.
The results will be also available on www.results.nic.in and www.examresults.net
