The Bharatiya Janata Party has marked the four years of Modi Government through several functions and celebrations but the method adopted by Bihar wing of the party is sure to leave a long lasting mark.
The party office in Patna has been transformed with the famous Madhubani paintings depicting the achievements of the BJP government in the Centre. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Ujjawala Yohjan, Make in India, Jan Dhan Yojya, Digital India and other schemes of the Modi government have been depicted on the walls of the party headquarter.
The team of six young artists includes Sneha Kumari, Kalpana Kumari, Vatsalya Kumar, Shamsher Warsi and Subaib Ansari. The artists say they did the paintings out of their love and respect for the Modi government and are not being paid by the BJP.
Madhubani painting is a traditional art of the region, which has received international accolades. Recently, the Railways had used the art to transform the station of its namesake city Madhubani. A Rajdhani train between New Delhi and Bihar's Patna has also been painted in Madhubani designs to attract passengers.
