The Yogi Adityanath govt of Uttar Pradesh is likely to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan for investment in the agricultural and allied sectors.
Haryana and Jharkhand are the partner states for Krishi Kumbha 2018 that will continue from October 26-28 in Lucknow.
Union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh, senior officials of state and Central governments and other dignitaries would be present at the inaugural ceremony.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is likely to preside over the closing ceremony on October 28.
