The Uttar Pradesh ATS on Friday arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists from Saharanpur.
The arrested terrorists are - Shahnawaz and Aqib. While Shahnawaz hails from Kulgam, Aqib belongs to Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
The UP ATS conducted raids in Saharanpur’s Deoband late Thursday night after receiving tip-off. The raids were conducted in Mohalla Khankah area of Deoband.
According to reports, weapons and cartridges have been recovered from these terrorists. The two terrorists used to recruit freshers to the JeM. Shahnawaz was studying at Deoband without taking formal admission.
