At least 20 people were killed and over 13 others were injured when the driver of an overcrowded mini bus lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a 200-feet deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Saturday, police said.
The accident took place at Kela Mod. As per latest reports, eight people have been airlifted to Jammu.
"Sixteen critically injured passengers have been evacuated from the accident site... Police, Army and civilians are engaged in the rescue effortS," police sources said.
