Police in Awantipora busted a module of militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed and arrested five Over Ground Workers (OGWs) for carrying out grenade attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Friday.
"Based on information of a former terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Sajad Ahmad, a joint team of police, army and the Central Reserve Police Force, the four others were nabbed," the police said.
Police stated that the module has confessed to having carried out grenade attacks in Pampore and Awantipora areas of Pulwama district.
Earlier on January 9, security forces had busted a module of militants and their over ground workers, arresting 11 people including two ultras who were trying to recruit youngsters into the ranks of various outfits in Sopore area of Kashmir.
