Terrorists have opened fired on a police guard post, deployed at District court complex in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Two police personnel have lost their lives while three sustained injuries in the exchange of fire.
The area has been cordoned off and a manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
In a related but different development, on Tuesday, 10 CRPF jawans sustained minor injuries after they were attacked by terrorists with grenades in Sadar. The names of those injured are Panda Ram, Boota Singh, Subash, Vijay Kumar, Narveer Singh, Jeet Ram, Manbinder, Ramdan, Hari Shankar and Porna Chandra.
They were admitted to hospital.
"Militants hurled a grenade on CRPF party at Janglat Mandi in Anantnag. Five CRPF personnel got minor injuries," said an officer, reported PTI.
