Pakistan Army violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday. Indian troops retaliated with full force.
There was no report of loss of life on Indian side.
On Tuesday also, Pakistan violated ceasefire in Khari Karmara area of Poonch district.
"Pakistani firing began early this morning in Khari Karmara area of the LoC. Indian positions retaliated strongly. No casualty or damage was reported on our side," an informed source said, reported IANS.
In 2018, on the LoC and the International Border (IB), there have been over 1,400 ceasefire violations by Pakistan in the state.
