International Yoga Day 2018: PM Modi, Baba Ramdev join millions of Indians in celebrations | See pics and videos
Yoga is beautiful because it has the best of our past and presents and a ray of hope for our future, PM Modi said at the opening address of the International Yoga Day 2018 celebrations at FRI in Dehradun.
India kicked off International Yoga Day 2018 with over 5000 events across the country on Thursday, June 21. The main event was held at Dehradun where Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed yoga with over 55 thousand people. Before this, PM Modi had spearheaded Yoga Day celebrations in Delhi's Rajpath in 2015, Chandigarh's Capital Complex in 2016 and Lucknow's Rambai Ambedkar Sabha in 2017. This is the fourth year of International Yoga Day.
Another major event was held in Rajasthan's Kota where Baba Ramdev presided over a record breaking crowd of nearly 2 lakh people performing yoga along with CM Vasundhara Raje.
