The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results for the Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 exams 2017 today at around 3 pm on its official website www.cisce.org ; Apart from the official website, students can also check their results on Indiaresults.com and Examresults.net. The ICSE Board exams were conducted between March 10 and April 21 this year. A total of 1,75,299 candidates appeared for ICSE examinations and 98.53% passed out.
Last year, 98.50 percent of students passed out of the total 1,68,591 students who appeared for the exams. The CISCE had also agreed to scrap the “moderation marks” policy along with CBSE but it appears that the board will continue the grace marking, in line with the court ruling.
Last year, as many as 2.4 lakh students appeared for the ISCE, ISC exams, with passing percentage being approximately 98 and 96 percent respectively.
Steps to check the ICSE Class 10 Results 2017:
- Visit the official website for the board www.cisce.org
- Click on the 'ICSE Results 2017' section.
- Enter your Unique ID, course and captcha
- Download the result or click on the ‘Print Result’ button to get the print.
- Keep a copy of the results for further reference.
Students can also get their results through SMS service on 09248082883. Student need to type his/her Unique ID in the following way, in the Message box: ‘ICSE 1234567 (Seven Digit Unique ID)' and press the send option, soon he will receive his/her result.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is a national level, private, Board of School education in India that conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education and the Indian School Certificate examinations for Class X and Class XII respectively. It was established in 1958 and registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act (1860) in December 1967.
CISCE conducts three examinations, namely, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE - Class 10 examination), The Indian School Certificate (ISC - Class 12 examination) and the Certificate in Vocational Education (CVE - Year 12).
