Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday refused to vacate the stay imposed on the implementation of the Jat quota in Haryana. The court asked all parties to file their replies by June 10 and posted the case for hearing on June 13.

The court further made it clear that there will be no adjournment in the case on June 13, the next date of hearing.

On May 26, the High Court had stayed implementation of 10 per cent quota to Jats and five other communities.

The apex body said that it is important to give chance to all parties to file their replies so that all arguments are heard before reaching to any conclusion.

Earlier, on March 29, the Haryana government had passed two bills that proposed reservation for Jats and five other castes in the state including Sikh, Ror, Bishnoi, Tyagi and Mulla Jat.
