Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who is currently undergoing treatment by a team of doctors under the supervision of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Director Dr Randeep Guleria, continues to remain critical. Vajpaye, 93, was admitted to Delhi's AIIMS for a urinary tract infection on June 11.
Vajpayee, the three-term prime minister, was the first non-Congress PM to complete his full-term in office.
Vajpayee's first term lasted for 13 days, his second term lasted for 13 months while his third term continued till the completion of his full tenure.
He was prime minister from May 16 - June 1, 1996 and then from March 19, 1998 - May 22, 2004.
Vajpayee-led NDA lost out to Sonia Gandhi-led UPA in 2004 general elections.
After his first stint as prime minister that lasted for 13 days, Vajpayee appeared in Mr. Rajat Sharma's popular Aap Ki Adalat show and talked about various important issues during the interview.
