Three members of a family were found dead in Gurugram’s Pataudi late on Wednesday, while the fourth member, a one-year-old child died in the hospital. The incident was reported from Brijpura village, nearly 50 kms from Gurugram, in Pataudi. Police and forensic teams arrived at the spot soon after the incident.
According to the police, the bodies of a woman and her son were found in a pool of blood, while the body of another woman (the daughter-in-law) was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
A one-year-old child was initially found severely injured with wounds on her hands. The child however died in the hospital.
“A woman's body was found hanging, found 2 bodies lying on floor, sent child to hospital where she died. Probe on,” said police.
Prima facie it appeared that the woman, her son and the child were killed by the daughter-in-law, who later committed suicide. The details however, could not be verified and the investigations in the case are on.
The deceased have been identified as Phoolvati (62), her son Manish (25), daughter-in-law Pinki (24) and one-year-old girl Charu.
