Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who is admitted to the Lilavati Hospital with a pancreatic ailment, is responding to the treatment and his condition is stable, BJP MP from South Goa Narendra Sawaikar said today.
Parrikar is being treated in Mumbai for pancreatitis since February 15.
"Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is undergoing treatment at the Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai and is equally responding to the treatment. He is being treated by best of the experts and as per the information his condition is stable," Sawaikar said in a statement issued here.
He also rubbished the reports that Parrikar would be shifted to the US for further treatment.
However, the MP said, "The news that he is being flown to the US for further treatment is totally false and basless."
