The death toll in a five-storey building collapse here has risen to two following the discovery of a child's body.
A man whose body was found in the debris at Akash Nagar on Sunday was identified as Rahul. The body recovered from below a concrete slab of the collapsed building has been identified as six-year-old Sagar.
"Three people have been named in the FIR. As investigation progresses and more names come up, they'll be included in FIR and action will be taken against them. Four supervisors have been suspended, a government report has been sent against seven people," ANI quoted Ghaziabad DM Ritu Maheshwari as saying.
The NDRF personnel are continuing to look for possible survivors and more bodies. The building owner is absconding along with his family.
The building was being constructed in violation of rules without the approval of the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA).
