BJP President Amit Shah has won the Gandhinagar constituency of Gujrat by 5.7 lakh votes.
Amit Shah secured a total of 8.94 lakh votes to beat Congress' Dr C J Chavda.
Gandhinagar saw the registered voters cast their votes on April 23 with a turnout of over 52 per cent.
Gandhinagar is a major BJP stronghold with the party holding the seat since 1989.
