It was a hot and humid morning in the national capital on Monday with the temperature settling at two notches above the normal.
"At 8.30 am, the temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal," a MeT Department official said.
The humidity level was recorded at 52 per cent.
Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 40 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively, the weatherman said.
On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal for this time of the year.
