In respite for Delhiites, rain lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Sunday, bringing down mercury in the region.
Earlier on Saturday, Delhi residents braved a warm and humid weather, though rains lashed parts of the city.
The maximum temperature settled at 36.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius.
The humidity oscillated between 58 per cent to 91 per cent, said a MeT department official.
The city received 5.3 mm rains between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, he said.
Areas covered by weather stations at Ayanagar, Ridge and Lodhi Road received rains, while rest of the city remained dry, the official added.
