A 6-year-old boy was killed, while a 29-year-old man was injured in a firing incident which was reported from Delhi's Inderpuri area Saturday evening. According to the police, gunshots were fired inside a gym in the locality.
Commenting on the incident, an official said the police arrived at the spot upon receiving information about the mishap at 8:45 pm.
The police, upon arrival, found that one boy, identified as Prince Raj had died while he was looking through the window of his residence above the gym. The deceased was living on rent at the gym owner's flat.
Another person, identified as Mahender, was injured while entering the building, an official said.
The injured was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where he was stated to be out of danger, police said.
Initial inquiry revealed that four people of JJ Colony in Inderpuri were involved in the incident, they said, adding a case has been registered in the matter and a hunt is on to nab the accused.
