According to reports, the RRB is most likely to announce the results on September 20, 2016.
Candidates can check the official website indianrailways.gov.in for the latest updates and the various Regional Railway Board websites as well.
The final selection of candidates will be on the basis of merit position obtained in the second stage CBT and/or result of Aptitude Test/Typing Skill Test, wherever applicable. The second stage Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination is likely to include 120 multiple choice objective questions related to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

Last year in December, the Railway Recruitment Board released an advertisement for NTPC jobs offering 18,252 posts like Assistant Station Master, Reservation Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, Goods Guard etc. The examination was conducted in 400 centres across India.
The online written exams to fill vacancies were held across the nation between March-May 2016. About 92 lakh aspirants had applied for the RRB NTPC exam and about 56 lakh appeared.
With the tests held in 74 shifts, it is considered as the world’s largest online exam.
