Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's bungalow 'Varsha'as has been mentioned in the defaulter list by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), reported news agency ANI.
According to ANI reports, Fadnavis’s bungalow has been declared defaulter as water bill worth Rs 7,44,981 is pending. Fadnavis's bungalow is situated in Malabar Hill area in Mumbai. It is an official residence of the Maharashtra Chief Minister.
Also, 18 Maharashtra ministers are mentioned in the list of defaulters. The ministers named in the list as defaulters include Sudhir Mungantiwar, Pankaja Munde and Ramdas Kadam are who did not pay the water bill.
As per the reports, the water charges have been pending since 2001. However, the BMC has reportedly not taken any action against the ministers for unpaid water bill as yet.
