Baramulla (J&K): Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested a Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) Jaish-e-Mohammad Abdul Rehman today evening.
According to the police sources, PoK militant Rehman has been arrested from Baramulla after receiving a specific input on Friday.
The militant was carrying an Aadhar Card with a number 647856225315 with his name printed as Shabir Ahmad Khan and father’s name as Ghulam Rasool Khan.
According to the media reports, the police is investigating the authenticity of the Aadhar ID recovered from the militant.
“If the card turns out to be genuine, it is a serious issue for the security agencies,” said a senior police officer.
Reportedly, the militant was arrested from Hajibal in the upper reaches of Baramulla and he was a militant of six-member Jaish-e-Mohammad group which attacked Pathankot airbase.
