Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, who were on Thursday acquitted by the Allahabad High Court in the 2008 murders of their teenage daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, is expected to be released from Dasna jail on Monday.
However, Talwars' lawyer Tanveer A Mir had said, "I think release orders will be received by jail superintendent by afternoon and Talwars will be released by 4 pm today."
Dasna Jail jailor, D Maurya said that they are waiting for the court order to take further steps to release Talwar couple.
The Allahabad High Court acquitted the parents of Aarushi Talwar giving them the benefit of doubt, setting aside the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court's earlier order. They have been serving life sentence since conviction by a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in November 2013.

Meanwhile, Dr Maurya, the jailor of Dasna Jail said that Talwars breathed a sigh of relief after the Allahabad High Court acquitted them. "They both got the information through news that they have been acquitted. They are very happy and said that they have got justice. We don't know when the copy of the verdict will reach the jail but as soon as we get the copy we will follow the verdict of the High Court. There was a bit of anxiety and stress as it was a big day but now they are relaxed," Maurya said.
"I am thankful to the judiciary for giving a positive verdict. It has been a stressful life since Aarushi Talwar was killed. I am grateful for the acquittal of Rajesh and Nupur. Allow us to soak in the news. We always knew they were not guilty," Aarushi's maternal grandfather BG Chitnis said.
