Sindkhed Raja Assembly Election 2024: Sindkhed Raja assembly constituency is one of the 288 assembly constituencies in Maharashtra state. It is a General category assembly seat. It is situated in Buldhana district and is one of the 6 assembly segments of Buldhana Parliament Seat.

Sindkhed Raja Constituency Demographic Profile

As per data from the Election Commission, there were 2,01,390 voters in the Sindkhed Raja constituency during the 20219 Assembly Elections. Out of this, 1,06,191 were male and 93,205 were female voters. No voter belonged to the third gender.  1918 postal votes were cast in the constituency. The number of service voters in Sindkhed Raja in 2019 was 1020 (1010 men and 10 women). In 2014, the total number of voters in the Sindkhed Raja constituency was 1,98,934. Sindkhed Raja Assembly Past Winners

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly Elections, Dr. Rajendra Bhaskar Rao Shingane of united NCP won the seat with a margin of 8,938 votes (4.47 %). He was polled 81701 votes with a vote share of 40.58%. He defeated then-united Shiv Sena candidate Dr. Shashikant Narsingrao, who got 72763 votes (36.14%). Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) candidate Avita Shivaji Mundhe stood third with 39875 votes (19.81%). The total number of valid votes polled was 1,99,699 (64.43%).

In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Elections, the then-united Shiv Sena candidate Dr. Khedekar Shashikant Narsingrao won the seat. He polled 64203 votes with a vote share of 34.88%. BJP candidate Dr. Ganesh Baburao Mante got 45349 votes (24.64%) and was the runner-up. Narsingrao defeated Mante by a margin of 18854 votes (10.31%). The total number of valid votes polled in this constituency was 1,82,787 (64.83%). Then united NCP candidate Khedekar Rekha Purushottam came in third with 37161 votes (20.19%) and MNS candidate Wagh Vinod Laxman stood fourth with just 13533 votes (7.35%).
