Pune Porsche crash case: Juvenile Justice Board extends remand of minor till June 25

The 17-year-old boy was allegedly involved in a car crash that killed two IT engineers in Pune last month. The teen was driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

Pune Porsche crash case: The Juvenile Justice Board, on Wednesday, extended the remand of a 17-year-old boy in an observation home till June 25 in connection with the Pune Porsche crash case, said an official.  After his arrest, the minor teen was remanded to the observation home for juveniles on May 22, and his remand ended on Wednesday, June 12. The Porsche car driven by the teenager, son of a builder, crashed into a motorbike in the early hours of May 19, killing IT professionals Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta in Kalyani Nagar. The teen was driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

The juvenile's parents are in police custody in connection with a case related to alleged swapping of his blood samples.
