Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took a dig at the Congress party saying it's going to lose elections badly and won't be able to claim the title of the Opposition. Addressing a poll rally in Maharashtra's Pimpalgaon Baswant, Prime Minister Modi said that serving the people is his life's biggest objective.
Further attacking the 'Grand Old Party', Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it wanted to split the budget on religious lines which was dangerous. For Congress, minority means its dear vote bank. It's Congress’ thinking that 15 per cent of country’s budget be spent on minorities, he added.
Congress is saying anything on the temple but the duplicate Shiv Sena is mum, They are in partnership of sin, the Prime Minister said.
"Your service is my life's biggest aim. In the last 10 years, you have seen my work and now, I have come to seek your blessings for the third term, to seek your blessings for a 'Viksit Bharat'," Modi said in Dindori.
PM Modi further said that he's the "chowkidar" of rights of the oppressed and won’t let them be snatched away. Maharashtra has made up its mind to punish "duplicate" Shiv Sena which has kneeled down before Congress, the Prime Minister added.
"The fake Shiv Sena and fake NCP will surely merge with the Congress. And when this fake Shiv Sena will merge with the Congress, I will remember Balasaheb Thackeray the most, because he had said that the day he feels Shiv Sena has become like Congress, he will dissolve the Shiv Sena," PM Modi said.
"Yesterday, I filed my nomination in Varanasi with the blessings of Baba Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav, and today, I am here on the land of Trimbakeshwar and Kalaram. I bow to all of you," he mentioned.
The Prime Minister further continued and said that the entire world is praising the way India fought against coronavirus.
"Modi is the “chowkidar” of rights of the oppressed; he won’t let them be snatched away," he added.
"...Congress is losing so badly that it is difficult for them to even become a valid opposition. A leader of the INDI alliance in Maharashtra gave a suggestion that all the small parties in Maharashtra should merge with Congress after the elections... It is certain that this fake Shiv Sena, fake Nationalist Party, will merge with Congress and when this fake Shiv Sena will merge with Congress, I will remember Bala Saheb Thackeray the most, because Bala Saheb also used to say that the day he felt that Shiv Sena has become Congress, that day he will end Shiv Sena, meaning that now there will be no trace of fake Shiv Sena," the Prime Minister told people.
"The fake Shiv Sena has shattered every dream of Balasaheb Thackeray. His dream was to build a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. Congress rejected the invitation of Pran Pratistha and fake Shiv Sena also chose the same path. Congress people are talking nonsense about the temple and the fake Shiv Sena is completely silent. Their partnership is a partnership of sin. And their sin has been exposed in front of the entire world... In the four phases of elections that have taken place, the public has defeated them from all sides," PM Modi added.
