Mumbai: Woman killed, two injured after learner driver presses accelerator instead of brake of car | VIDEO

The CCTV visuals of the road accident show that the car is running slow and as soon as it comes close the woman speeds up and hits her.

In a shocking road accident, a woman was mowed down by a car in Mumbai's Kandivali area. The officials on Sunday said the incident took place on Friday at 11 am.

CCTV footage of a tragic road accident in the Poisar area shows that the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake when he saw people passing in front of the car. The moment, the 'learner' driver pressed brake, the car went out of control and hit 3 people including a woman.

All the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital where the woman died.

The police arrested the person driving the car and the car owner.
