Mumbai Police receives threat call on blowing up McDonald's in Dadar area, probe launched

A caller informed the police that he heard two people talking in a bus to blow up McDonald's in Dadar area of Mumbai.

The Mumbai Police Control room received a threat call informing that there would be a blast in McDonald's located in Dadar area of the city. The caller claimed that while travelling in a bus, he heard two people talking about executing the plan. The police conducted an investigation into the matter, however, nothing suspicious was found.

“Mumbai Police Control room received a threat call, in which the caller informed that there would be a blast in McDonald's located in Dadar area of Mumbai. The caller said that he was travelling in a bus when he heard two people talking about blowing up McDonald's. After the call, a complete investigation was done but the police did not find any suspicious object. Police are further investigating this matter,” the Mumbai Police said.
