The entire incident was captured on CCTV, with the footage now circulating on social media. The video shows a bustling intersection with vehicles moving in all directions. Suddenly, a speeding car appears, colliding with several bikes and other vehicles before overturning. The force of the impact threw the bike riders into the air, some landing several feet away.

Speaking of the incident, the police said that while a probe has been launched to confirm the cause behind the mishap, prima facie it appears that Dr V M Chavan driving the car suffered cardiac arrest or other medical problems, due to which he lost control and the car went ahead at a very high speed, knocking at least four two-wheelers on a 50-meter road stretch.
