Maharashtra Legislative Council elections: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced a list of three candidates for the upcoming biennial Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections scheduled for June 10. BJP announced the names of candidates for the Konkan Division Graduates', Mumbai Graduates' and Mumbai Teachers' constituencies.

- Kiran Shelar for Mumbai Graduates'
- Shivnath Hiraman for Mumbai Teachers'
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), the counting of votes will take place on June 13. The six-year tenure of the current Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) will conclude on July 7.
The last date for filing nominations is May 22. Scrutiny of nomination forms will take place on May 24, while the last date for withdrawal is May 27.
Of the seats going to polls, the Mumbai teachers’ and Mumbai graduates’ constituencies are currently represented by Kapil Patil (Lok Bharati) and Vilas Potnis (Shiv Sena (UBT)), respectively. The Konkan division graduates’ constituency is represented by BJP’s Niranjan Davkhare, and the Nashik division teachers’ constituency is represented by Kishore Darade.
