Vande Bharat Express escapes major accident, rams into welding belt tumour in Morena I VIDEO

According to the sources, the loco pilot of New Delhi-bound Vande Bharat Express promptly controlled the speed of the train which averted a major accident in Morena, Madhya Pradesh.

Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express escaped a major accident after it rammed into a welding belt tumour in Morena, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. 
 
A major accident could have happened with the Vande Bharat train going from Bhopal to New Delhi but the loco pilot's prompt action saved the life of hundreds of passengers. When the train was crossing Morena, the train narrowly escaped the accident on the down main rail track. The Vande Bharat train had to be stopped on the track for some time and it reached Agra with a delay of about an hour.
 
 
Vande Bharat train number 20171 was going from Bhopal to New Delhi when the incident happened. Some work was going on on the track where the incident took place. The train was passing at a high speed, due to which an accident could have happened but the loco pilot timely controlled the speed moments before colliding with the welding belt tumour. The train stood in Morena for about 45 minutes.

Later, the officials reached the spot as soon as information about the incident reached them. After getting information about this incident, Gwalior-Jhansi officials immediately reached the spot in Morena. Officers of the Railway Police Force were also present there. Top officials reviewed the incident and tried to find what went wrong. However, no official statement was made by the authority so far.
