I.N.D.I.A has come with a resolution to end 'Sanatan' culture: PM Modi attacks Opposition bloc
PM Modi laid the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 50,700 crore during an event in Bina, Madhya Pradesh. The projects include a petrochemical complex at Bina refinery and 10 new industrial projects across the state.
Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 50,700 crore including the Petrochemical Complex at Bina Refinery and ten new industrial projects across the state. On his arrival, he received a warm welcome from the people in Bina.
Notably, the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are scheduled to be held later this year.
Addressing the gathering PM Modi said that Rs 50,000 crore projects are being set up in Madhya Pradesh and this will give impetus to the state’s development. "I want to thank Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his government for giving me the opportunity to come and meet the people of the state. Today, we will lay the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs. 50,000 crores. Even the budget for several states in our country is not Rs 50,000 crores."
The Prime Minister said that these projects will give new energy to the industrial development in this area. He further said that the central government is spending Rs 50,000 crore on these projects and this is not the annual budget of several states.
"Bundelkhand is the land of bravehearts. It has the blessings of both Bina and Betwa," said PM Modi.
"In this era of 'Amrit Kaal', every Indian has resolved to make India a developed country. To achieve the target, it is imperative that India becomes 'Aatmanirbhar' (self-reliant)," said PM Modi in Bina. "It is imperative for the development of any country or state that governance be run with complete transparency, and corruption remains curbed. There was a time when MP was counted among the most dilapidated states of the country," he added.
Credit for success of G20 Summit goes to people of country: PM Modi
"You all have seen how India has successfully organised the G20 Summit. The credit for the success of the G20 Summit goes to the people of the country. It is the success of 140 crore people" He said that the credit for the success of the G20 summit goes to 140 crore Indians. This is evidence of the collective power of our country. "The G20 delegates were impressed with the diversity and heritage of our country," he added.
Petrochemical complex will take Bina to new heights
Talking about the Petrochemical Complex at Bina Refinery, the PM said that it will help in making India Atmanirbhar and the modern Petrochemical complex will take Bina to new heights. "With this new industries will come here and MSMEs will get opportunities and youth will get job opportunities," he added.
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan hailed India's historic success of the G20 presidency. "PM Modi came here today after the historic success of the G20 presidency. It is a matter of pride to say this...If somebody is working for the welfare of the world and not just the country, it's PM Modi," he said.
PM Modi attacks Opposition
Targetting the Congress, PM Modi said that those who ruled Madhya Pradesh for long did nothing else other than corruption and crime.
PM Modi said it is imperative for the development of any country or state that governance be run with complete transparency, and corruption remains curbed. "It is important for the growth of a country or a state that the government runs with total transparency and corruption remains under check...There was a time when MP was identified as one of the laggard states. After independence, those who ruled in MP for the longest time, they didn't give it anything apart from corruption and crime," said Prime Minister Modi.
"People of older generations must be remembering how the Congress kept the Madhya Pradesh deprived of facilities like road, electricity and water. Under the BJP government, roads are reaching each village of the state and electricity in every house," he said.
PM Modi on Sanatana Dharma
Reacting to the recent controversy over the 'Sanatana Dharma', the Prime Minister said that the opposition alliance have decided on a hidden agenda to attack India's culture and to end 'Sanatan' culture. "The people of this I.N.D.I.A. alliance want to erase that 'Sanatana Dharma' which gave inspiration to Swami Vivekananda and Lokmanya Tilak...This INDIA alliance wants to destroy 'Sanatana Dharma'. Today they have openly started targeting Sanatana, tomorrow they will increase the attacks on us. All 'Sanatanis' across the country and the people who love our country will have to be alert. We will have to stop such people."
He further said that the opposition alliance doesn't have a leader and there is confusion over leadership. "The meeting held in Mumbai. In that meeting, they have made a policy on how an ghamandia alliance will work in the future.. This is the policy of Indi Alliance.. to attack the Indian culture.. attack the faith of Indians," he added.
Petrochemical complex at Bina refinery
The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of the Petrochemical Complex at the Bina Refinery of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). This state-of-the-art refinery, which will be developed at a cost of about Rs. 49,000 crore and will produce about 1200 KTPA (Kilo-Tonnes Per Annum) of ethylene and propylene, which are vital components for various sectors like textiles, packaging, pharma, among others. This will reduce the country's import dependence and will be a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s vision of 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat'. The mega project will also create employment opportunities and spur the development of downstream industries in the petroleum sector.
Other projects
During the programme, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of ten projects namely ‘Power and Renewable Energy Manufacturing Zone’ in the Narmadapuram district, two IT parks in Indore, a Mega Industrial Park in Ratlam and six new industrial areas across Madhya Pradesh.
The ‘Power and Renewable Energy Manufacturing Zone, Narmadapuram’ will be developed at a cost of more than Rs 460 crore and will be a step towards economic growth and employment generation in the region. The ‘IT Park 3 and 4’ in Indore, will be built at a cost of about 550 crore, provide impetus to the IT and ITES sector and open new employment opportunities for the youth.
Mega Industrial Park in Ratlam will be built at a cost of more than Rs 460 crore and is envisaged to become a major hub for important sectors like textiles, automobiles and pharmaceuticals, among others. The park will be well connected to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and will provide a major boost to the economic development of the entire region, generating direct and indirect employment opportunities for the youth.
With the aim of promoting balanced regional development and uniform employment opportunities in the state, six new industrial areas will also be developed at Shajapur, Guna, Mauganj, Agar Malwa, Narmadapuram and Maksi at a cumulative cost of about Rs 310 crore.
