A tragic accident occurred near Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, where a bus overturned, resulting in one fatality and injuries to ten others. The incident took place on Wednesday, and emergency services rushed to the scene to assist the victims.
Earlier in May, a tragic accident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district when a private bus fell from a flyover, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuring 40 others. The incident took place around 1:30 am near Pachore town, police reported.
The bus, carrying 55 passengers, was en route to Pichhore town in Shivpuri district from Indore. The driver lost control while crossing the flyover, causing the vehicle to plummet to the ground below. Two passengers died on the spot, while 40 others sustained injuries.
Of the injured, 19 suffered critical injuries and were referred to hospitals in Indore. The remaining injured passengers are receiving treatment in various hospitals in Shajapur, Biora, and Pachore. One of the deceased has been identified as Harjat Singh, 28, while the identity of the other victim is yet to be confirmed.
The police have launched a search for the bus driver and conductor, who fled the scene following the accident. A case has been registered against them as the investigation continues.
