Veteran actress Babita Kapoor turned a year older today and the occasion called for a celebration. Members of The Kapoor family came together last night to make the day special for the lady. Karisma Kapoor, her children Samaira and Kiaan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Rima Jain, Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain were spotted at the party. However, we were missing internet's favourite Taimur Ali Khan.
While everyone put their best fashion foot forward at the bash, Kareena took the level a notch higher. The actress sported a black and blue asymmetrical hem dress by Balenciaga which she paired with black pumps. Keeping her makeup minimal, she rounded off her look with silver chandelier earrings and a black clutch. Her uber-chic avatar for the party is to die for. On the other hand, Saif was all dressed in ethnic style. He chose red silk kurta and white payajama for the occasion. Karisma Kapoor too made a stylish appearance. Earlier, in an interview to Pinkvilla, Karisma talked about her relationship with her mother. ''For me, my mother is like God. She is, literally, the person I pray to. She is the sunshine and the oxygen in my life. She has done everything for my sister and me. She is a true woman of substance. All I know is that I can’t live without my mother. The mother-child relationship is one that you can’t put into words,'' she said
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor is currently busy shooting for Veere Di Wedding. She will not announce any new project until the release of the film. The movie directed by Shashanka Ghosh also stars Swara Bhasker and Sonam Kapoor.
