So it important to drink water regularly as it also helps to eliminate toxins by urine and perspiration. There isn't a single bodily function - seeing, hearing, thinking, exercising, singing and even laughing - that does not rely on water.

As mentioned in noted medical journal, Neurology, scientists conducted an experiment on two groups of migraine suffering individuals. One group was asked to take regular medicines during the pain, while the other group asked to increase their water intake during pains. It was noticed that the group with more water intake experience around 21 fewer hours of pain than those who took medicines.

People who are on weight-loss regime are firstly advised to increase water intake in their day-to-day diet. Not only does it boost your body's ability to burn fat, it also helps in treating digestion problems. As per a study published in Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism' Journal, with drinking every 0.5 litres of water our body gets the metabolic rate increased by 30 percent in both men and women for next 10 minutes.
