New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is riding high on the success of her film 'Ek Villain', somehow seems to be attracting a lot of controversies off-screen.
While her Indian media boycott has come to and end, a new issue has been raised following her attire that she wore during one of EK Villain's promotional events.
A leading daily unearthed a picture of the actress which was published in a Peshawar-based newspaper, Daily Mashriq, on June 27.
The picture was clicked at a recent promotional event of her recently-released movie, with Shraddha dressed casually in denim shorts and a crop top.
She looked extremely glamorous in this casual attire. But, the Daily Mashriq, that claims to be "the largest circulated newspaper of the region", obviously felt that the outfit was too risque for its readers.
And so they decided to digitally add on a pair of knee-length black leggings and cover Shraddha's legs. A lot of photoshopping was done to cover Shraddha's leg.
Apparently, Shraddha laughed it off and production CEO Tanuj Garg did not seem too surprised as he termed it was a "common practice in certain regions."
Shraddha will be next seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in 'Haider'. 'Haider' is Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation another William Shakespeare plays 'Hamlet' and is slated to release on October 2nd.
