New Delhi: Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor finally tied the knot with Delhi-based Mira Rajput and broke many hearts.
Shahid Kapoor as usual looked dapper in whatever he sported, be it red kurta, embellished jacket and churidaar on sangeet, the geometrical prints sherwani and churidaar on wedding or black bandgala at wedding after party at Oberoi. But all the eyes were on his lady love Mira Rajput.
From Shahid's relatives to fans and media to fashion police, everybody kept a close eye on how the bride is looking and what exactly is she wearing. Mira won hands down for being a simple yet classy bride.
Simplicity is what, Mira stuck to and it really worked for her. The wedding functions started with a grand sangeet and our Delhi bride just looked apt for the do. Clad in an Anita Dongre lehenga, Mira swirled, danced and matched steps with hubby Shahid Kapoor. Al though, the lehenga wasn't exclusive but it did look great on Mira. She complemented it with minimal make-up, intricate jewellery and beautiful yellow flowers.
During couple's 'anant karaj' ceremony, both Shahid and Mira kept it simple. Shahid wore a white kurta - churidaar, teamed up with a multicoloured saafa and Mira complemented him by sporting a peach and green kurta-churdaar.
During the jaimala, Mira adorned Anamika Khanna pink lehenga with navaratan and pearl jewellery. Makeup was again kept minimal.
At the post-wedding dinner in Gurgaon's Oberoi hotel, Mira stole hearts with her smoky look. The glowing bride was seen in an Anamika Khanna signature creation. The highlight of the dress was her diamonds and emerald jewellery. Not to mention, her dramatic eyes did all the talking!
